Legals & governance

Legal structure of AZBUKA reflects the beliefs and ideas on education of the founding members.

These are:

  • Non-profit philosophy in education. It means all surplus of an organisation must go back into the work of the organisation. The operational costs and expenses are covered by tuition fees and fundraising/donations.
  • Charitable status – an organisation which works for the public benefit. AZBUKA Foundation was incorporated and acquired charitable status in 2013. It is governed by a board of Trustees and is supported by a number of patrons and consultants.
  • AZBUKA aims for wider community outreach within its activities. It aims to be affordable to a variety of working families.
  • AZBUKA aims to implement a well-managed and planned fundraising strategy aiming for the sustainable safe development and operational work of the Foundation. Scholarships and grants are planned to be introduced in due course.
